Blogging Basics 101

Everyone was a newbie once. Smashing Magazine asked their community what piece of advice they’d give newbies and they responded with

1. Never stop learning
2. Take criticism constructively
3. Be patient
4. Comment your code
5. Be a helpful member of the community
6. Learn the business
7. If you don’t love it, leave it
8. Make time for yourself
9. Believe in and be yourself

Some of that sounds a little trite to me, but I have to admit that, at some point or another, you need to remember each of those things.
